ABOUT
“Bloom where you are planted.”

This motto embodies my mission of enabling women to flourish mentally and physically during their preconception/pregnancy journey by respecting their bodies as they are. My philosophy is a result of much personal and professional soul searching. After years of working with patients as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and my own experience with diet culture, I began to recognize traditional dietary recommendations were not sustainable or effective for many people. This led me to discover the Intuitive Eating framework, which helped me become in tune with my body and reject diets and food rules. I became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor to help me become the dietitian I wish I had when I wanted to improve my relationship with food and my body.
During my pregnancy, I discovered how susceptible we can be to diet culture during this time, and in my professional experience, I’ve seen first hand how diets and nutrition misinformation can hinder successful pregnancies. Our health and wellness practices will help you prepare for the changes ahead and help you build trust in yourself. Pregnancy and motherhood should be spent embracing our changing bodies and new babies, not stressing about health rules and unrealistic body image.
